PRIVACY STATEMENT
Homeowners Marketing Services, Inc. ("HMSI") is committed to protecting your privacy
and earning your trust. This Privacy Statement describes HMSI's privacy practices
for the services HMSI provides through its Web sites:
www.homeown.org and
www.4hmsi.com.
HMSI complies with federal and state laws concerning data privacy.
Information Collection & Use
Individuals may visit HMSI's Web sites, without disclosing any personal
information. HMSI may track the activity of visitors to these web sites in order
to analyze trends, monitor, and to improve and refine the functionality of the
sites. When used for the above purposes, this data is aggregated and is not
stored in any personally identifiable form. Visitors may also contact HMSI via
e-mail. Upon receipt of such e-mail, it collects the sender's return e-mail
address. HMSI uses this return address to respond to inquiries or comments that

so.
Data Integrity & Data Security
HMSI does not process personal information that it receives for any purpose other
than to provide online knowledge, training and learning across the organization.
HMSI has taken steps to ensure that any information it collects is secure by,
among other things, limiting the number of people who have physical access to
the database servers, utilizing electronic security systems, and using password
protections which guard against unauthorized access.
HMSI may, however, aggregate data that it obtains from Users to analyze trends,
to gather data to benchmark best practices, and to monitor, improve and refine
the functionality of the system.
Cookies, Web Beacons & Session IDs
"Cookies" are information files which your web browser places on your computer
when you visit a Web site. Web beacons, also known as clear GIFs or single-pixel
GIFs, are small image files that HMSI may place on Web pages and within
Web-based email newsletters that we may send. Working in conjunction with
cookies, Web beacons allow HMSI to accurately count the number of unique users
who have visited a specific page of a Web site and the number of times those
pages are displayed. We may also use Web beacons to let us know how many people
opened a Web-based email newsletter. HMSI uses cookies, Web beacons and session
IDs to authenticate a User as he or she navigates various parts of the sites.
Cookies and session IDs may also be used to automate data entry functions. HMSI
does not obtain personal information via cookies or session IDs, and does not
link any data collected through cookies or session IDs to any personal
information.
The use of cookies is an industry standard, and they are currently used on most
major Web sites. It is possible to adjust your Web browser preferences to alert
you when a cookie is sent to your hard drive, or to refuse cookies altogether.
While HMSI does not require you to use cookies, keep in mind that certain sites
and services will not function properly if you set your browser to refuse all
cookies.
Purchases
If you make a purchase by credit card, the relevant data
will be securely transmitted to HMS' third party vendor providing such payment
processing service over a secure (encrypted) connection.
Links
HMSI Web sites may contain links to other Web sites. HMSI is not responsible for
the privacy practices or the content of such other sites.
Disclaimers
The services provided by HMSI through its Web sites do not constitute the
rendering of legal services, and no attorney-client relationship is formed
between HMSI and any customer, or between HMSI and any User, by virtue of such
